Information Design
Map visualization of New York City through its diverse culinary offerings. The guide provides a carefully curated list of recommended restaurants, strategically placed based on their location in either downtown, midtown, or uptown areas. Each intersection on the map corresponds to a specific restaurant and is color and pattern coded to indicate its price range, cuisine type, ratings, and ambience. The arrangement of the restaurants on the map mimics the rectangular block pattern of Manhattan’s city planning, creating a visual representation of the city’s diverse culinary landscape.
Bumbu Dapur
Editorial DesignFood is a form of art of its own where all five senses come to play to experience it as a whole. I have great admiration for the variety of cuisines from all over the world and found comfort in Chinese and Indonesian cuisines, especially Mom’s cooking. Growing up, I would always have three different home cooked meals a day. Food was my mom’s love language and this heavily influenced how I view food. Warmth is in the different dishes she cooks. We all have our favorite home-cooked meals and encapsulated in this book are mine. This book contains a combination of six Chinese and Indonesian dishes, each with a description and origin included. Additionally, it provides a list of specific stores, appliances, and brands used by the chef. The title ‘bumbu dapur’ means kitchen spices highlighting the importance of spices in her flavorful cooking.
Memories, Scentified
Editorial DesignThis booklet examines the relationship between scent and memories by capturing people's experiences with scent in response to specific events, individuals, locations, and objects — color-coded using various shades of grey. The composition and images of the book starts with desaturated and fragmented pictures, gradually transitioning towards a more complete presentation. It culminates with a case study on Disney World as a 'scent playground' depicted through visual data translations of scent profiles from rides and their associated memories and emotions.

Motion DesignA dynamic triptych poster of Bob Gill's manifesto, 'Otherwise Forget It.' The posters emphasize the importance of problem-solving and functionality in design, with typography as the main focus of the project. The posters are designed to guide the viewers through simple horizontal and vertical motion, ensuring that they follow the correct order. The designs intentionally start with an overwhelming first scene that grabs the viewer's attention and encourages them to explore the poster further. Simplicity is used to create a clear and concise message that conveys key points from the original manifesto.
